Young Entrepreneur Headlines CVCC’s Extreme Entrepreneurship Event April 2

EJ CarrionCatawba Valley Community’s Business Programs will host its second annual Extreme Entrepreneurship Tour on Wed., April 2, featuring successful author and business owner E.J. Carrion.
CVCC hosts the event to help students and the community better understand what it takes to pursue a business start-up. The event takes place at the CVCC Student Center on the CVCC Main Campus from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
Carrion is one of the highly accomplished young entrepreneurs who is part of the Extreme Entrepreneurship Tour group. Speakers share their stories—both triumphs and challenges that they have faced—in addition to giving advice on how to leverage the entrepreneurial mindset regardless of what career path you choose.
Carrion is the author of “Accelerate Your Success: How to Create A Future and Stand Out When College is Not Enough,” Carrion has been featured on ABC, NBC, and Fox News affiliates for his work to help this generation of students increase their chance of success. Carrion also founded the Student Success Academy, a modern coaching solution that helps students leverage their education and build a personalize plan to defeat current issues in the economy and their own life. While in college, he became the co-publisher of “Collegiate Performance Magazine,” which featured celebrities like NFL quarterback Tim Tebow and BMX Gold Medalist Dave Mirra.
