The Catawba Valley Community College (CVCC) Small Business Center will present “Record Keeping and Taxes” on Thurs., Nov. 20 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at CVCC’s Alexander Center for Education in Taylorsville.
Keeping proper records can help small business owners save time and money. This two-hour seminar shows participants how business decisions impact their tax bill and how to keep records that will allow them to track their business’ profits while maintaining the information needed to file federal and state taxes. Participants learn which expenses can be deducted for tax purposes and walk through a record-keeping process from sales receipts to tax returns.
There is no cost to attend this seminar, but pre-registration is required. For more information or to register, contact the CVCC Small Business Center at 828-327-7000, ext. 4117.
