The CVCC Small Business Center will present “Engage Your Nonprofit Board of Directors” on Wed., Dec. 3 from 9 a.m. to noon at CVCC’s Corporate Development Center. This seminar continues a series of seminars for nonprofit organizations through the Small Business Center’s Non Profit Training Institute, which was made possible through a grant from The Unifour Foundation Inc. Endowment.
The Dec. 3 seminar will feature Sandy Rees, a Fundraising Coach and Consultant from Loudon, TN who specializes in helping small nonprofit organizations raise money, develop their Boards, and ensure the success of their missions. The seminar will show participants how to clarify Board roles and responsibilities, find and retain Board members, and involve Board members in the fundraising process. Non-profit leaders will use tools from this session to turn their Boards into ambassadors for their organizations who are committed to spreading the organization’s message and actively engaged in helping meet fundraising goals.
