In response to demand, Catawba Valley Community College will again offer a group of condensed online classes between the traditional fall and spring semesters.
Held Dec. 7, 2015, through Jan. 6, 2016, “Winter Intersession” is a way to get a jump start on the upcoming spring 2016 semester, advance progress toward graduation, reduce a heavy course load in future semesters or save money.
Many online courses are available. These courses are commonly required for many associate degrees and bachelor degrees. Course offerings for “Winter Intersession” may be viewed at http://www.cvcc.edu/Semester_Schedules/.
“Winter Intersession” courses are taught completely online through BlackBoard. Students must have a dependable computer, Internet service and a functional email address.
Students enrolled at another college or university who want to enroll in “Winter Intersession” at CVCC are welcome. Details for enrolling as a special credit student can be found at http://www.cvcc.edu/WinterIntersession.
The process must be completed December 1.
