Author and CPA Shares Financial Literacy Expertise With CVCC Students

Banking on Confidence imageDale Cline, CPA and author, recently spoke to Catawba Valley Community College students enrolled in New Start Human Resources Development classes at Career Connections at the Goodwill Development Center in Conover.

Cline used his book “Banking on Confidence: A Guidebook to Financial Literacy,” as the basis for his talk about managing and using income wisely.

A certified public accountant, Cline has practiced in the Hickory area for almost 40 years.

The CVCC Foundation, Inc., purchased 100 copies of Cline’s book, one for each student in the New Start class, and future classes. The mission of the CVCC Foundation, Inc. is to foster and promote the growth, progress, and welfare of CVCC.
