CVCC Recognizes Student-Athletes for Academic Excellence

Catawba Valley Community College recently recognized student-athletes for academic excellence during the fall 2015 semester.

Student-athletes named to the President’s List achieved a GPA of 3.75 or higher this fall. Student-athletes named to the Athletic Director’s List achieved a GPA of 3.2 or higher.

CVCC offers students the opportunity to participate in athletics operating in accordance with National Junior College Athletic Association Division Region 10 rules and regulations. The athletic teams at CVCC combine hard work, persistence and dedication with the ultimate goal of success in the classroom and on the fields and courts. Teams include women’s volleyball, women’s basketball, men’s basketball and men’s baseball.
